Dream 65 warm to touch - should I be worried?

Thank for your answer. I know those kind of station, but it's too expensive, and too big. ;)
The Fallen you linked to is a Li-Ion (designated on the photo of the bottom). Good for 2000mA hours, so you can do the math how long you'll get powering everything. Mission makes the 529P power bank which is 25,000mA hours but requires a compatible power distributor such as the 529I, so you're going to be in the $330 range for the battery and distributor. But it SHOULD power your pedals 10x longer than the Falken you linked to.

An inexpensive option would be the Joyo which is a Li-Ion at 4400mA hours:

Thanks! The comparaison of the Falken (2000ma) and the Yoyo (4400ma) is important, you're right!

I didn't' know the Yoyo!

In fact, the Yoyo is perfect for the price, the battery Lithium-Ion, but there's only 3x 500ma, and the others are only 100ma!
I've checked my pedals and it seems to be OK!! (Vox Wah wah need less thant 100ma...)

You solve my problem, i'm gonna buy this Yoyo!

Great thanks dear Joe Porto :):):):)

Hi,

I received today from Thoman 2x Joyo PS5 Rechargeable, so unfortunately i HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!!!
The DREAM are plug on 500ma input, and it doesn't work!!!
It's the same problem when i only pluged the UAFX pedal on the Yoyo (on 500ma)

sure, i can return the 2x Yoyo PS5, but ain't got solution with the UAFX.

Universal Audio on this Forum had just give the link of what we can't' do with their pedals but not give me a solution.
The JOYO respect all the indications!!:cry::cry:

Hi,
The JOYO PS5 power supply meets all the conditions of your specifications in your link above, and yet I encounter the same problem.

How do you explain that?

Instead of giving me the specifications, can you recommend equipment that can make your pedal work?

I remind you that BOSS or LINE6 have made similar products, that is, which operate with batteries.
So why is this not your the same with Universal Audio?
I am a professional musician, and many musicians have to play on stages without electricity, or prefer to be electrically autonomous in order to avoid electrical buzz. (for example due to lighting when a place does not meet electrical standards)
Why didn't Universal Audio think of creating a product that could be used on battery power and more easily?
If Universal Audio has the solution, I'm waiting for them to offer me one.

Thanks in advance.

Be sure to let Support know about your experience with that power supply via a ticket.

If you post your #, I can make sure it goes to the correct agent.

It's 'possible' that your particular Dream pedal has a problem - ?
But it is more likely the cheap power supplies are the culprit.
Those power supplies do not put out consistent, filtered amps regardless of what the ad copy states.
They're fine with normal guitar pedals that draw 100ma or less but they start to function inconsistently with anything that draws over 160ma.

Try one of these to check if your Dream65 is functioning properly ...

Possible,
Yes, but I remind that I don't have problems when I'm plugged into the power.
The problem began only when I plug into portable batteries. (with my 5v/9V converters) and now with my new Joyo PS5 rechargeable power supplies, which have 3X 500ma inputs. (I received this morning from Thomann)

Do you Use the "Dream" on alimentation with battery?

Doubtful UA can help other than pointing you to recommended power supplies, none of which are battery operated. UADFX seem to have pretty stringent power requirements, as they are basically computers.

There have been workable options mentioned...use a supported AC supply with a 120v smart battery (Anker 521 or 523 Powerhouse etc.), or maybe try the Mission Engineering combo.

OK, firts i had to return the 2 YoYo PS5 that you first recommand.

I've check the Anker 521. It's possible for me when i get my money back for Thomann: So, Anker 521 exist in 220V (France, i'm french) and it's give 200W

So, 200W is OK, for the UAFX Dream?

Tkank for your answer!
